With this chronograph the watchmaker Mühle-Glashütte supplements the Terrasport family with a model that combines a timeless instrument look with the qualities of the tried and tested mill chronographs. And from design to the classic Glashütter Fliegeruhren from the first half of the 20th century reminded.
As is the case for a real aircraft watch, the dial of the Terrasport I chronograph is designed to be contrast-free and designed for the best possible readability. The white minutiae stand out clearly from the black background, the three blacks for the small seconds and the minute and hour counter of the chronograph fit perfectly into the overall picture, not just reminding the cockpit of a classic machine.
The digits of the totalisers at five, seven and nine o'clock intensify the vital character of this timepiece. A chronocenter pointer with a red tip and the corresponding red markers of the chronograph functions also contribute to this.
The 44 millimeter, brushed stainless steel case sets the discreet frame for the eye-catching dial appearance. And with the MU 9408, it houses a drive that has already proved its worth in the timepieces of Mühle, such as the SAR Flieger chronograph. This work is characterized not only by a reserve of 48 hours and by the mill-typical refinements. Its particularly shock-proof fine-tuning also ensures that the accuracy of the gait is maintained under all circumstances.
The black buffalo strap with its white seams grips the dominant colors of the dial design. Alternatively, the Terrasport I Chronograph is also available with a cream colored dial and a brown buffalo strap.
With its classic fly clock optics in a typical mill interpretation, the Terrasport I Chronograph is a reminiscence of the early days of aircraft watch production in Glashütte. An exciting time trip that is just a look at the wrist.
